Mediation Scheduling
MIMS takes the labor-intensive and time-consuming task of scheduling mediations and arbitrations and makes scheduling simple, reliable and fast. MIMS users enter all the critical data just once using a series of menu-driven information boxes. A case without a mediation date can even be entered and stored as a pending case without any mediation information. Once the mediation date has been agreed upon, the specific mediation session can be entered and edited, if necessary. Lawyer information is stored so that once a lawyer's and a law firm's contact information is entered in MIMS it never has to be entered again for future mediations. MIMS also automatically retrieves and enters mediation location information (mediation firms office, attorneys office, mediators office) and mediation rates.

MIMS presents mediation scheduling information by month and date, by mediator, or by payment status in a clear, easy-to-understand format. The MIMS administrator can set up or change mediator profile information including mediator rates, percentages, administrative fees and contact information.

MIMS has a calendaring function that allows a viewer to check a mediator's availability and to request a mediation online.  Once a new mediation is entered into the MIMS system, it automatically updates the public calendar for a mediator.
